This revolutionary roller technology is specifically designed to safely convey wireline tool strings to highly deviated targets in drilling wells. It effectively replaces costly intervention methods such as coiled tubing and wireline tractors.

Optimizing Mature Wells with SST Technology - Gas Lift

Many wells worldwide are aging and experiencing gradually declining productivity. In partnership with TRC, CIP Group offers an innovative solution to reverse this trend while optimizing production costs.

SST (Supersonic Suction Tool) technology combines gas lift and suction effect to significantly improve oil production. Gas lift reduces fluid density in the tubing, while the SST accelerates injected gas to supersonic speeds through a nozzle. This process creates additional depression through the Venturi effect, generating a low-pressure zone that promotes oil flow.

Deployed by slickline, this technology uses a pump to mix the produced fluid with injected gas in a diffuser, thereby transferring energy to the fluid-gas mixture. The SST acts as an amplifier for existing gas lift systems, enabling either increased production or reduced gas requirements as the well ages.
